Langkawi Bamboo Festival 2022
Our founder, Ir. Mejar Ahmad Mazlan, was honoured with the ‘Bamboo Guru’ Award, instituted by The South Asia Bamboo Foundation (SAbF), in conjunction with World Bamboo Day 2024 held in Chiang Mai, Thailand.
The award recognises individuals for their exceptional contributions to the promotion and sustainable use of bamboo, in alignment with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
This recognition reflects a lifelong dedication to advancing bamboo as a sustainable material for architecture, design, and community development, and reinforces our commitment to building a more resilient and environmentally responsible future.
