The Sungai Siput Bamboo Village master layout is thoughtfully organized across a spacious riverside site in Sungai Siput, creating a fully integrated campus for education, hospitality, agriculture, and bamboo-based industry.
Bordered by the river on one side and surrounded by lush plantation landscapes, the site is designed to function as a self-sustaining eco-community where every facility supports learning, production, and community development.
Together, this master plan reflects a holistic vision in which tourism, education, faith, recreation, and sustainable industry coexist in one dynamic and community-centered environment.
The village offers six interconnected experiences:
Buluh Inn Café – A vibrant community café featuring 10 retail stalls operated by local residents, alongside busking performances and traditional shadow puppet screenings.
Riverside Chalets – Three riverside tent chalets that invite guests to stay immersed in the peaceful beauty of the bamboo landscape.
Tahfiz Bamboo Technology – A two-month program for 20 participants combining bamboo technology training by day with Quranic and religious studies by night, including accommodation and meals.
Bamboo Workshop Shared Service Facility – A collaborative workshop where villagers are trained in bamboo carpentry and guided to create market-ready products.
Bamboo Training Workshop – National and international seminars and courses covering bamboo cultivation, harvesting, treatment, furniture making, construction, and crafts.
Bamboo Industry Development Hub – A long-term initiative to position Sungai Siput as a center for bamboo innovation, entrepreneurship, and sustainable economic growth.
